Levels of Membership
All members of Ozarks AEYC are also members of AEYC-MO, Midwest AEYC Regional Alliance, and NAEYC and are entitled to the rights and privileged of membership consistent with the membership categories of those respective associations.
Classes of Members
The classes of members shall be Comprehensive Affiliate, Regular Affiliate, and Student Affiliate.
Dues
Membership dues shall be determined by the Board. Any member who fails to pay his or her dues for the current membership year shall automatically be expelled as a member of the Association.
Benefits
Comprehensive members receive all the benefits of Regular membership listed below plus receiving 5 or 6 books a year immediately after their release by NAEYC.
Regular and Student members receive:
- Five issues of the Young Children journal, packed with the latest developments in early childhood education, practice, and research;
- Voting rights in NAEYC, AEYC-MO, and OAEYC elections to help shape the future or the early childhood profession;
- Reduced registration fees at NAEYC sponsored conferences and seminars;
- Reduced subscription fees for the respected Early Childhood Research Quarterly;
- Opportunities to participate in various insurance plans designed to meet your personal and professional needs, including professional liability insurance and an Association-sponsored credit card service from MBNA.
